The Kiddie Park's "Spook-A-Rama" is all about having great Halloween fun with children and families.

.

The Great Pumpkin and Costume Contest will be held both evenings of October 17th and 18th.-from 6 p.m. till 10 p.m. The contests are for children-12 and under. Pumpkins can be painted, decorated or carved- "Only one per family!!!". Fun ribbons and prizes will be presented to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.

This year's costume contest will be a great opportuntiy for family members to take photos with a fantastic Halloween Haunted House and pumpkin setting. We have a local photographer-Wil Gibson, who has volunteered his time to take photos of the children and will have them posted on his website for viewing. Trophies will be awarded to the participants for best costume, funniest and scariest costumes.

The SPCA Animal Shelter

Join us again for both evenings. This year the SPCA plans to bring some little critters in costumes to the park. We are encouraging everyone to bring a donated item from SPCA Wish List posted on their website at: www.wcspca.org

The SPCA gang of volunteers plan to run the "Spook-A-Rama Haunted House" and the proceeds will go to benefit the shelter.

2008 Fall Fun Fest

This year, the fifth annual Fall Fun Fest, sponsored by the Bartlesville Rotary Club, will join the Kiddie Park's-"Spook-A-Rama" on Saturday, October 18th, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Johnstone Park.

The Bartlesville Rotary Club is encouraging area businesses and organizations to join in the fun to hand out candy and prizes to trick-or-treaters. Booth areas will be available for the participants to decorate their area and participants are encouraged to wear costumes.
